First trip to Kirtland "lagoon"

My husband and I took our first trip to Kirtland ponds yesterday (May 14th). Saw 1 Bonaparte's gull, 3 Ring-billed gulls, 4 Killdeer, 3 Western Sandpipers, about 5 Northern Shovelers, 2 Mallards with ducklings, several Canada geese with goslings, Barn swallows, 2 Cinnamon teal, Red-winged blackbirds, heard W. Meadowlarks.
