Hey all,
I spoke with CSI and found out that we had the Congress Lounge
reserved for the Writer's Coffee House the whole time...they'd just
forgotten to email me. I'll put up fliers on the community boards (I
didn't get to submit a flier to CSI before the deadline), but everyone
should try to get the word out! Tell your classmates, friends, fellow
writers!
Mario, do you think you could get in contact with the Writing Center
and see if they can still let us use the coffee machines for the
event?
Kim, do you want to make another flier for the event? All it needs is
the event name, what it's about (an open reading of original works on
the topic of Chicago, all are welcome to present), where/when it is
(Congress Lounge, 4:30-5:30 pm, Wednesday, April 1st) and contact info
(just put down my gmail address).

Oh, and I forgot to mention, the topic for the Coffee House will be the "essence" or spirit of Chicago. So basically, any experience, good or bad, of Chicago.

Here's the new ad. So you'll notice some things need to be changed, mostly your email address. Also, I wasn't sure about the picture. Maybe just another writing picture, unless we're guaranteed coffee. Also, if we are, I would have added that free coffee was available. So this is what you can work with.

Wow...do you mind doing the fliers for the rest of the semester?
That's an awesome flier. I'll change the email and anything else, but
that's a lot better than anything I was expecting. You've definitely
got a knack for advertising.

Sorry all, I know I haven't been showing up, but I have work every week on Wednesday's at 4:00. I'm going to see if I can change this to Monday instead, but if not, I don't know what I am going to do. Don't mean to ditch...hope to see you all tomorrow though. Peace.
