Activities Committee
Fourth of July Celebration will be Friday, July 4th! Check the attached flier for more information and scheduling. The parade registration starts at 9:30AM and we will host the welcome ceremony, good neighbor awards, and games at Triangle Park beginning at 11:00 am, immediately following the parade.
Juneteenth Observance
Juneteenth Observance at Wesley AME Church, Swarthmore. Bring a chair! Speakers between 6:00-6:45PM and Stay and Break bread together, live drumming from 6:45-7:30PM!

Triangle Park
Triangle Park construction is well underway; construction is anticipated to complete the week prior to July 4th if the weather holds out and allows for work to continue on track. We appreciate everyone’s patience and support at this time!
As a reminder, Waverly Terrace between Swarthmore and Rutledge avenues has been changed to a one way street, traveling into the borough. Signage and line markings will be placed later this year.
Sanitation Committee
Next Yard Waste is Friday 20th
Yard Waste Scheduled for July 4th week will take place Monday, July 7th to allow everyone to enjoy their holiday weekend.
Double yard waste collections have begun! Collections will be First and Third Fridays through November. Please be sure to properly prepare your yard waste in a way that is collectible by the haulers. Use your toters, personal cans, paper bags, or tie with twine. Yard waste on tarps or in plastic bags is not acceptable due to difficulty to lift.
We are disappointed to announce our next E Waste was cancelled due to weather and our provider is now unable to reschedule for the planned rain date. We are working to find a new date.
