Rutledge 250th Schedule Updates: High Heat Announcement

Due to high heat, we will be modifying our Semiquincentennial Celebrations.

1. Thursday 7/2 Today's Girl Scouts Craft event outside the borough hall will be CANCELLED due to high heat.

2. Friday 7/3 Tomorrow's Scavenger Hunt will start as planned 10am - the listed items will be posted online for the scavenger hunt will be items you likely may have at home already! Prizes for completion will be available at Lower Borough Hall 5-6pm in the air conditioning where you can cool off.

3. Saturday 7/4 Parade will start at the usual time, but due to high heat we will be working to expedite the commemoration, provide shade, provide water for cooling off and drinking, and cutting some of the games.

We hope these changes and others will help support a FANTASTIC and safe celebration in Rutledge commemorating the birth of American independence.
