Snow management

Borough ordinances require snow be shoveled to create a path the full width of the sidewalk. This should be completed within 24 hours of the end of the snowfall and our borough code enforcement does cite residences who do not meet the requirements as the continued icy conditions make for unsafe streets for pedestrians.

We are unable to recommend or guarantee providers for snow removal to residents, but we do often get requests for assistance—if you are interested in volunteering to shovel snow for neighbors (or so other neighbor support throughout the year) please respond to this email and we will add you to a list of volunteers .
