Parks and Recreations Committee

As the Triangle Park Master Plan continues to progress, residents are advised that the Shade Structure and Shed for the Gather Space are currently expected for delivery and construction in late April through late May. The Gather Space will be fenced off for the duration of the shade structure installation.

Starting in June, the Stormwater Management improvements to the softball field and intersection will also begin. As detailed in our newsletter, this includes installation of: new stormwater intake at the intersection of Rutledge Avenue and Waverly Terrace including a curb bump-out; underground piping beneath Triangle Park and Rutledge Ave; large gravel infiltration bed to improve water filtration and reduce surface runoff; and creation of a new access point to the park along Waverly Terrace.

We appreciate the community’s patience and continued support as we invest in these important environmental improvements for a cleaner and more resilient Borough.
