Hello Everyone,

As you may already know Rutgers is co-sponsoring a GAY PROM for high school students grades 9-12 with HiTOPS ( a teen health and education center in Princeton, NJ). Tickets went on sale last monday and unfortunately we only have 5 tickets sold. Some of our kids are telling us that the $50 ticket price is hard for them especially is their parents are not supportive. We need to get at least 45 more tickets sold by friday. If we don't we will be forced to cancel tha prom. This is the last thing we want so we are asking for help in any way. We still need donations for things like food, dj, and decorations. If you would be willing to donate in any way or can pass this on to anyone or any orgnaiztion that you think may want to donate, that would be much appreciated. I will attach the flyer and the official letter for donations to this email. Again thank you so much for any help and I know that if enough people come together we will be able to make this a really special night for these kids

Hello Everyone,

Since we are doing everything we can to save the prom we are now opening it up to all high school students in NJ. If there are any students or GSA advisors that you think would be interested please pass on this message. I will attach the flyer, the letter to GSA advisors and also the letter for donations. We can use all the help we can get.
Again, thanks so much

Do you have a FB page set up for this so I can invite youth I know?

Thanks,

Pandora

Hello Marielle,
Our GSA here on the Rutgers Camden Campus actually attended a Pride Day on Friday which had a great turn out. I will relay this information to the gentleman that told me about the event and see what we can do to spread the word.

Mr. Townsend, Thank you again for the opportunity to help out and I hope that you are able to pass this information on to the High Schools who attended. I think this may have a great turn out as a great deal of the students showed interest in the school as well as any activities that we had to offer. OR! if you could kindly send me the information to get in contact with the high schools I will make the connections. Thank you so much for your time!

Let me know if there is anything else I can do!
