Hi.

As my platform for organizing events is not ready yet, I've decided to continue paying Meetup for at least 6 more months. In the meantime the organizers of the Rust-TLV group have decided that they don't want to pay for it.

So they passed the leadership of that group to me and I've left the Rust group I created (the Tel Aviv group already had almost 1000 members and I guess there was a big overlap.

I am looking for a venue to hold in-person meetings. In the meantime I scheduled an online presentation. Just to get things rolling and to encourage more people to sign up.

If you are not a member yet, go visit the group and sign up now!

I've been also working on the Rust in Israel web site making it more data-driven.
You can now see the two upcoming Rust events on the front page:

The in-person meeting at Abra next week and the online meeting the week after.

There are still a lot more things to do with the web site, but I am already quite happy with what we have. And the code generating the site is in Rust.

Help would be appreciated.

regards
