waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ke fateh !!!
Thank you to all that showed an interest in becoming apart of the Sikh Society Committee 2011 by attending our meeting. Also, thank you to those who have already put their names forward!!
The position up for grabs are;
PRESIDENT
Needs to stay impartial and keep Sikh Society running under Sikh principles.
Over sees the running of events.
Motivates others to join, come to events and motivates the committee members to get things moving
Agrees to stick to BOSS' agenda on rules of running a Sikh Society
VICE PRESIDENT
Assist the president with helping the society run
TREASURER
Keeps and organizes the money
Ensures books are balanced
EVENTS ORGANIZER
Organizes talks, discussions, movie nights to help increase out knowledge of sikhi
Keeps in contact with BOSS to ensure we can get freebies and speakers
MEDIA
Given responsibility to ensure photographs are taken at each event and uploaded to facebook/flickr promptly
Works with social and events organizers to create posters and flyers for advertising.
YEAR REPS
Point of contact for people in your respective years
Brings ideas to the table about events
Communicates to others in the year and get Sikh Society known

You are allowed to apply to more than one role.
Deadline to apply by is Wednesday 9 November and you will be notified by Monday 14 November of who is shortlisted for the voting stages :)
