Dear Colleagues,
We are seeking proposals for two 15-minute presentations at The Russian Music Theory Interest Group [SMT-Rus] in Vancouver. The guidelines are listed below.
Proposals should clearly describe the significance and originality of the paper and situate them in the current study of Russian music/music theory. Proposals can be on any topic related to Russian/Soviet music including but not limited to the following:
*New analytical approaches to a specific composer’s music
*Critical translations of significant theoretical writing(s)
*Proposal length: 250 words (no supplemental materials are required)
*Proposal format: double spaced, with the title and your name at the top of the page
*Proposal deadline: Monday 15 August
*Proposal submission destination: ibaz...@lsu.edu
