Queen introductions

I'm over here in California, my plan this year is get some russian/
yugo bees from honeybeegenetics.com/ then do a small split and
introduce queens from a pure strain when available. I'm thinking the
queens will be accepted a little better do to the pheromones.

would anyone object to this approach?

I'm not so sure the line matters to much on queen intros. I don't know
of any purebred breeders in ca right now. Seems most everyone that
were selling russians here stopped or advertising them anyway. I'll
send an email to a few breeders and take it from there.
