Supplemental feeding

I am thinking about trying supplemental feeding to give a boost, so I
can prepare making possible splits as early as possible. Anyone have
experience with MegaBee or other supplements? How would it compare to
using pure pollen?

MegaBee seems to be good stuff. I have not looked into what they put
in it but stay away from it if its soy. At the most recent bee meeting
they discussed how they are moving away from Soy in pollen patties. I
will try to look into MegaBee and others on the market. One that seems
interesting is BeeBread made by JesterBee.com. It's worth checking out
but new to the market and when I spoke to them on the phone they only
sell 20lbs. bags for $25 if I recall. It's just too much supplement
for my needs but the product is worth reading into on their website.

I read up on it and it looks like one of the best out there. I know a
lot of the local dealers keep it in stock. If you have any questions,
click on the questions and answers link on their website. It's very
informative.
