GANG,

IF WE SHOULD CHOOSE TO GO WITH THE FALCON FIELD HANGER MEETING ROOM ($300) IN PEACHTREE CITY OR THE TYRONE DEPOT ($1500), I HAVE LINED UP A BLOCK OF 10 ROOMS AT THE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS OFF OF HWY. 74 IN PEACHTREE CITY FOR THOSE COMING IN FROM OUT OF TOWN.  THEY ALSO HAVE A MEETING ROOM, BAR, AND RESTAURANT FOR A FRIDAY NIGHT GET-TOGETHER.  THEY WILL ALSO PROVIDE THEIR SHUTTLE TO FALCON FIELD FOR THOSE FROM OUT OF TOWN.  YOU CAN GO TO THE TYRONE DEPOT.COM.  LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK?

Hey Big Bob,  Thanks for working on this.  I looked at both places and they both look good.  I hate to say this but I've been in Kentucky 30 years and I'm really not sure where Fayetteville or Tyrone is (sounds bad I know) ....the price is quite a bit different but Tyrone Depot looked really elegant with lots of extra space...I'm holding judgment back to hear from the others right now.  Ruby

RUBY,

DON'T WORRY, WE WILL GET YOU THERE, WHEREVER THERE ENDS UP BEING.  FAYETTEVILLE IS KINDA SOUTH OF THE AIRPORT WITH PEACHTREE CITY A FEW MILES WEST, AND THEN YOU COME TO NEWNAN.  YOU CAN GET THERE OFF OF I-85 SOUTHWEST OF THE AIRPORT.   ACTUALLY, HWY. 85 RUNS SOUTH OF THE AIRPORT STRAIGHT TO FAYETTEVILLE.

Hi Ruby, I worked for Fruit of the Loom, in finance area, then moved
back to ATl in '80 and then to Alex City, AL in '83, but i enjoyed KY
while I was there, infact still have friends there. It is hard to
beleive we have been out of RHs for 40 yrs, in some respects seems
like 4 yrs others 100. i know some have passed on but would like to
know where evertone is, it is sad we lose track of so many ggod
friends thru the yrs. I missed the last reunion because my wife was
having reconstuctive surgery after breast cancer, she is fine now. I
know you mentioned a son, do you have anymore, or grand children. I
have two and two step, and three grand children. I very seldom say
step because they have all lived with us. I hope we can pull this
off, as I would love to see as many as possible before we get too old
or too many cant make it. regards, Dave da...@thyenterprises.comOn Jun

Dave,
I agree it's hard to think in terms of 40 years I remember my dad's best
friend visiting me on his way to Indiana for his 50th reunion and that made
him seem so old ....however I don't feel old at all at this point. I had one
child at the age of 37 he is now 21 and has a 7month old son. He and Laura
are both students at U of L and live in a apartment connected to my house.
I love having them close this way I can help with the baby but also we share
lots of the same interest so it works well for all. Joe, Thank you for
working on the "list" I was thinking it would be nice to make a memorial for
all we have lost (Davis at the top)so when you learn of members that have
died let me know. Laura is into scrapbooking and she can help me. Thanks,
