Yesterday we left for Centralia, Washington. Russell and I are going
to meet the baseball coach there and see what we like about the junior
college.

We stopped in Boise on the way at about 4:30. We met Rusty Keith
there. He has been the coach at Northwest Nazarene College in Boise.
He will is now the new coach at Winatchee Valley College. Nick Orgill
recommended we get in touch with Bob Duda at Winatchee, Bob is good at
working with players who want to go on LDS missions. The only problem
is that Bob resigned earlier this week. Rusty agreed to meet us in
Boise and take a look at Russell. Rusty was coaching a college summer
league game, so we showed up and Russell got some batting reps and
pitching in while there team was warming up. Rusty was a coach who
seems relaxed and enjoyed the players. He was able to spot and give
helps on the players as they were batting. It was 102 degrees when we
got there. I was hot and by the time we were done it felt good to get
a cold drink of water and get in the air conditioning again.

We spet the night in Pendleton, Oregon. We are getting ready to head
off to Centralia now.
