Hello. Sometime ago I wrote an EK Gamechanger Discussion that ended up being a guide, and I am now updating it with newer spawns (though old spawns are still viable), newer spells, and newer gear. I hope you guys enjoy it. I have NOT FINISHED the guide (still missing links to hunt videos and links to quests spoilers), but I wanted to upload it so you could read it and tell me what you think it's missing. Also, I added some youtube channels that are a MUST visit, because they have great content and tons of videos for EKs that show great hunting spawns. I will add links to every single hunting spawn later (unfortunately, I haven't been able to do it yet), and also links to the quests spoilers. The hunting spawn list will still be optimized (there's some hunting spawns that I'm missing cause I haven't found a good video for them), and I am open to suggestions for the guide.
IMPORTANT SPELLS: Knights are the most spell-spamming vocation of tibia. Thanks to the reworks, some spells became more important, and are useful now, while others are still very viable.
This study aimed to determine if 3D printing can affect surgeon's selection of plate for distal tibia fracture surgery and to find out whether orthopedic surgeons consider this technology necessary and would use it in their practice. A total of 102 orthopedic surgeons were asked to choose anatomically contoured locking plates among 5 most commonly used types for one simple and one complex distal tibia fracture based on X-ray and CT images. Next, they were provided real-size 3D printed models of the same fractures, allowed to apply each of the 5 plates to these models, and asked if they would change their choice of plate. A 10-point numeric rating scale was provided to measure the extent of the help that 3D printing provided on preoperative planning. Finally, we asked the surgeons if they would use 3D printing in their practice. Seventy-four percent of inexperienced surgeons changed their selection of plate after using 3D printed models for the complex fracture. In contrast, only 9% of experienced surgeons changed their selection of plate for the simple fracture. Surgeons rated the extent of usefulness of the 3D models in preoperative planning as a mean of 4.84 2.54 points for the simple fracture and 6.63 2.54 points for the complex fracture. The difference was significant (p < 0.001). Eighty-six percent of inexperienced surgeons wanted to use 3D models for complex fractures. However, only 18% of experienced surgeons wanted to use 3D printed models for simple fractures. The use of a real-size 3D-printed model often changed surgeon's preoperative selection of locking plates, especially when inexperienced surgeons evaluated a complex fracture. However, experienced surgeons did not find 3D models very useful when assessing simple fractures. Future applications of 3D models should focus on training beginners in fracture surgery, especially when complex fractures are concerned.

I've been wanting to create this discussion over an EK, and wanted to include opinions from different tibia players in order to summarize the MOST IMPORTANT game changers for an Elite Knight through his/her life in Tibia. My goal with this discussion is to help new, or even old EKs to set up goals for themselves to get to points in the game when they really get a boost in their vocation gameplay. I decided to add lots of hunting spawns at the end of this post so you guys can check them out. They include a YOUTUBE video, each.
[Level 35]: Exori - An obvious game changer. It's the first powerup you get for AOE hunting (together with Exori Mas), which helps getting much higher exp/h rates. Your real power gaming begins here.
They are good "extra protection" for the hunts. I personally couldn't go without the Gleaming Starlight Vial for 5% mana drain protection to a hunt where the monsters spam that kind of damage, for example, Yielothaxes. Bone Fiddle is the only one that will cost insanely more than the others. No huge game changers here, but still worth checking out.
Every imbuement has 3 levels: Basic, Intricate and Powerful. Basic and intricate are accessible only by delivering 5 books to a guy in a temple north of Thais. Powerful Imbuements are unlocked through long-hard quests for level 250+ characters. In MOST worlds, there's high level characters willing to imbue Powerful imbuements to low level people, even for free, and they are a MAJOR game changer.
If you're teamhunting most of the time, unlock dodge charm first. If you're mostly solo hunting, I'd say wound or parry is a solid choice. When you dodge, you won't get hit. When you parry, you reflect the creature's damage to it. Wound will deal physical damage to the creature. They have a chance to trigger, so it's not with every hit you take. Low blow is a great charm when you're hunting exclusively with critical imbuement. They are a major game changer once you unlock them, but a pain to unlock.
Tibia has changed. Long gone are the days when you stood outside of the dp, with a knife, a friend, and you'd hit each other and bleed each other for hours to get higher weapon skills. Leveling is more important now, and it should be, but still, skills can be a MAJOR game changer if you choose to train before leveling up (offline training). To be honest, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS LEAVE YOUR CHARACTER OFFLINE TRAINING FOR 12 HOURS EVERY DAY. Never forget to do it.
Pits of Inferno Quest [Level 80+]: I personally did this quest with a team rather than with a service. I was blocking with my EK at level 140, it felt insane. Maybe because it was the first time I did such a long, hard and fun quest, but really, I just loved doing it. It is not a huge game changer, but it's something worth your time, plus you'll need it to do the next quest.
[Level 127+]: In this level, you get 630 mana points. It may seem like it's not a big game changer, but it's the first level you can use your full rotation (including the use of mana potions every second) to its maximum potential.
Background/Purpose: Semi-automated Local Area Cartilage Segmentation (LACS) software uses two robust coordinate systems to measure cartilage change in focused regions in the femur and tibia. Varus malalignment of the tibia could alter ankle biomechanics, and might lead to degenerative changes of the ankle joint. However, previous studies failed to report the detailed changes of ankle biomechanics in varus malalignment of the tibia. The aim of this biomechanical study was to evaluate how the ankle joint pressure would change in response to the incremental increases in varus malalignment of the tibia.
For mild tibial varus deformities, there was a lateral shift of COF and lateral stress concentration within the ankle joint. However, as the tibial varus progressed, the COF shifted medially and the lateral stress concentration decreased.
The alignment of the lower extremity is critical for orthopaedic surgeons, both for preoperative and postoperative evaluation. It is believed that the varus or valgus deformity of the lower extremity is highly associated with osteoarthritis, especially the knee joint [1,2,3,4]. Previous study demonstrated that the knee joint alignment and kinematics was altered in patients with early knee ostoearthritis [5]. Patient with varus knee often had a varus inclined tibia, which could subsequently alter normal biomechanics of the ankle joint. It was thought that varus tibia can lead to stress concentration on the medial aspect of the ankle joint, prolonged stress will result in degenerative changes of the cartilage within the ankle joint [6].
Norton and colleagues [7] studied the compensatory mechanism of hindfoot for advanced knee osteoarthritis, they found that as the mechanical axis angle became either more varus or valgus, the hindfoot would subsequently orient in more valgus or varus position in order to maintain a normal mechanical alignment of the lower extremity. Therefore, for patients with varus malalignment of the tibia, would the compensatory mechanism further affect the ankle joint biomechanics? Ting and colleagues [8] found that anterior and posterior bow deformities produced a greater change in contact area of the tibiotalar joint than with valgus or varus deformities. The subtalar joint might have compensated for varua and valgus deformities. The PreScale TM pressure-sensitive film was utilized for the measurement of contact area and pressure, and 0, 5, 10, 15 of deformities was simulated. They failed to report the detailed ankle joint pressure change in response to the incremental increases in varus malalignment of the tibia.
The custom designed fixture was utilized for the testing. Spirit levels were utilized to make sure both the working table and the top plate was horizontal throughout the entire testing process. The varus malalignment of tibia (0,2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20 of tibial varus) was simulated by a custom made apparatus. Each hole on the apparatus represented a specific varus angle. A bolt was used to fix the specimen at a desired varus angle (Fig. 1).
