Totakeover sprites( and baseSprite including Renderable) and prevent them from drawing in 2d mode, I removed them from the currentScene, once they are created. So nothing will be drawing when calling game.currentScene().render() with realScreen and realCamera, and the same result with fakeScreen and fakeCamera. What we got is rendered by raycasting ext., and a black strip drawn by split screen ext.
Hi @SCREEE123 !
This raycasting ext. is drawing directly to the screen, and not considered split screen when designing. So it is not compatible with split screen mode yet. And I am not think I will fix this, cause:
Writer has no split screen feature per se. However, you can open another instance of the same document with Window>New Window. Resize and move the windows so that they fit side by side on your screen(s).
I did a complete restore. As others have reported, I was not able to restore to the shipping version and boot - it went straight back to DFU. This is an iPad with cell data, they might have updated the firmware fort that.
Because one thing I noticed when I had Safari open and pulled up the dock, then moved the Files app over Safari (not into Split View, but on the right side) when I couldn't move Files by putting my finger on the top and sliding left, all I had to do was change the orientation and I could then slide the Files app across the screen, and when I changed back to my original landscape view I could still move the Files app about the screen.
To clarify, if this occurs, slide up the dock, and drag an application on to the miniature window, and hold there for a few seconds until the app opens. Then drag the new app to the side. Hope that helps!
On my iPad Pro Slide Over & Split Screen was not working after updaring my iPad to iOS 11. but thanks to this guide -view-and-slide-over-not-working/ and I fixed it by force rebooting my iPad and turning on Multiple Apps option
I have downloaded iOS 11 before the native release on my iPad. and I also having trouble of after installing iOS 11 Split View and slide over not working my iPad. but i tried given steps and easily get rid of on issue.
- Step 1: Go to the Settings app on iPad.
Thanks! I don't want to rely on a plugin, as I have the desired result in the website, but just the editor that is messed up a bit. It looks like it takes up the space from the 'sticky' element and then the content begins after that, which makes the content boxes in the editor overflowing / move to the bottom of their boxes. see screenshot.
Ideally I would like to have a line of code to unset this sticky element just for the edit mode.
I found the classes .is-editing and .sqs-edit-mode-active. Any ideas for this? Thanks
Just updated Microsoft Edge and introduced me to the split screen feature. Instead of creating two separate windows and sticking them side by side the old fashion way, split screen is way more convenient. Edge got the edge. Will Brave introduce a similar feature?
Interesting request - Pro-e, versions 3, 4 and I believe 5 had that functionality built in as an option in the "view" command. That was back when we were all working on 17" monitors... Personally, I didn't care for it and always worked in "full" screen mode.
Well... It does "look" like vertical viewports. Have you tried the VPORTS command and selecting Single? Is it possibly due to a dual monitor setup. Possibly, but since it's the drawing window that's split and not the program window. I don't think it's likely.

I've tried playing with viewports, the upper portion seems to me to be a dead viewport, if I click on it, my mouse does not change to a crosshair, and the "X" cannpot be clicked to close it. If I change the view port to anything, it divides the bottom portion, like so
FWIW, I saw this mentioned once a number of months ago. I have been looking for the conversation and have been unsuccessful locating it. I cannot recall what, if any, the fix was. I will keep looking...
Was this drawing created by wblocking from a drawing with 2 viewports set? I've seen inactive viewports created that way. Two things you might try. One is an Audit. The other is inserting the problem drawing into a fresh drawing created from your template.
I still can't figure out how to fix this. I have 80 users that will be using this custom icon and profile so that Civil 3D nows where to look for all of our CADD standard, fonts, ctb, templates, etc...
I also started with the standard icon, imported our custom profile and set current and it still worked, so then I exported the custom profile right away to overwrite it, then started with our custom icon, re-imported the profile and restarted and I still have the issue.
It may be something in the profile. If you start from the stock icon and then switch to the WSN Civil 3D 2014. Does it have the same affect. Oh. It looks like you're referencing an ARG file. I haven't tested that in 2014, but I know that wouldn't work in 2012. You might have to import the Profile ARG into your template and eliminate the .ARG from the path in your custom Icon. You'll notice that our /p parameter does not point to an ARG file. It takes the profile from the template referenced immediately afterwards.
Anyone close to my age will remember huddling around a 20-40 inch square TV in their youth, playing split-screen Goldeneye or Perfect Dark on their N64, or a few years later, Halo: Combat Evolved on the original Xbox. If you were playing 4-player, you were often lucky if your viewing area was the size of a slice of bread, with resolution to match.
Split-screen only got better as time went on. Some of my best memories from college were having friends over for wild Halo 3 sessions (surprise: I am a nerd). By that point, we had real flatscreens, so while your vision was still a bit cramped, it was better than anything we had growing up.
I'm making a video using the split screen effect. The default cropping lops off the left and right side of the screen, leaving the middle portion. Is it possible to adjust this cropping? I would like the left side of one clip and the right side of the other, so that everything important fits in the frame. When I go to adjust the cropping, it is locked into the aspect ratio, which is not what I want, because once the screen is split, that will not be the aspect ratio of each clip; is that clear?
I solved my own problem! Thought I'd post my solution here in case anyone else has this question. The way to do this is to crop the clips BEFORE you add them to the timeline, but selecting them in the "my media" portion of the screen, in the top left quadrant, and then going through the normal steps to crop. This allows you to crop in any way you want, with no locked aspect ratio. Then add the clips to the timeline and go from there.
I would like to split screen of my terminal (kitty). I know it's possible but there doesn't seem to be a shortcut (pre-made or that I can add to kitty.conf file. I also saw an option for typing a command but I don't understand where this command needs to be typed (and is annoying to type a command to split screen each time).
While I was away on business, a co-worker shared my computer and somehow changed the appearance of my inbox to a full screen. I want to return to the split screen which allows me to see my e-mails and read the highlighted one in the split screen format I had originally.
If it is checked and still no message pane showing, maybe it got dragged off the bottom of the screen. Move your mouse down toward the bottom margin of the screen and watch for it to change to a double headed arrow. When it does click and drag up to see if you can pull up the message pane.
Sorry for the error in protocol. Your suggestion to go to the bottom of the screen until I got the double arrow and drag up worked. Problem solved. You learn something every day. I greatly appreciate your help.
I am currently struggling with my screen dimming during split screen. It was not like this when I purchased, but there was a setting that popped up with my HP support assisstant that gave me the option to save battery.
Aside from a response to running on battery or a reaction of an adaptive screen brightness setting, for the moment at least, I don't know. I've not yet come across an explanation and I cannot yet duplicate what you are seeing.
