hi all,

just back from the alumni meet Sanidhya 08 at the Rain Tree Hotel in
Chennai.. was really nice to see the seniors
and know what they are upto..

I reached there by 7 pm as indicated in the invite... to find only
Manoj and Jo (our RM seniors)... it started some
where near 8 pm.. the best thing was father P T Joseph was also
present and he talked about the new buildings
that are being built especially the new hostels.. plans are on for
introducing new courses and increasing the
student strngth..

Jo talked first about the importance of networking in MBA and the need
for a good reationship with the alumni..

There was a senior by name Naresh... he quit his job and has stated
"Quick Super Bites",a snack joint and
he gave us his brand of Sandwich..

There was one more senior who has started a company that sells
corporate gifts and there were t-shirts and other
Souvenirs for sale...

The alumni came to the stage batchwise and shared their experience...

There was a party with the bar open till 11 pm... nice food...

Just wanted to share a lighter moment.. i wanted to talk to father
Joseph and did not know what to ask..
I asked som common questions till i asked a mindless qn.. i askeed him
whether his family was with him
in BBSR and he politely replied "I am a priest". Feel so bad for
asking such a question..

then there was some ragging or you call it ice breaking.. there asked
us to dance and wiith some funny qns it
was over...

they gave us a mug with XIMB building printed and some good stock of
britannia products...

Do attend the meet and post your experience..
