Sir,
I am currently analyzing the data I collected from Maharashtra, and data
given by Aravindh from Tamil Nadu.I will get back to you with revised
report on points (1-6 below) in couple of days.I have procured SIMs of
Airtel,Vodafone ,Idea from MP,MH so will be comparing these providers at
Delhi location.

Questions that need to be addressed in context with performance of data
services in visited Networks.

1.Does the route changes in visited networks?
2.Does the latency to end host or the 1st available hop changes ?
3.Does the DNS lookup time changes?
4.Are the PoPs same for the SIMs in visited Networks ?
5.Are IPs allocated to SIM are same/different in visited Network ?
6.How large is a pool of IP for provider ?
7.Does the throughput changes in visited network? (uplink/Downlink)
8.Network Mobility Route optimization problem(rfc4888) and Deployment of
Route Optimizations Solutions(rfc4889) by Providers ?

Please suggest any other questions that needs to addressed.

Thanks & Regards

I'd sent a bunch of comments also on buffer behavior and CDN analysis.
These need to be investigated.

Arvind Mahla, haven't had any updates from you about scheduling and
web10g sine a long time.

Sir,
Currently i am out of delhi. The brief update on present status of work:

Web10g - Only two instances of break in tcp flow were reported that too with gaps of less than 2 seconds. Need more instances for substantial analysis.

Bufferscheduling - Have conducted further experiments and result compilation is pending.

I will back to Delhi on 16th and will subsequently send detailed update with results.

Arvind
