Looking at lesson 7:
"Reeborg's world includes beepers. These are small objects (drawn fairly
big on the screen) that make a small beeping sound when they are turned
on. Reeborg can only hear beepers if he is standing right on top of
them, on the same corner. "
First, I never heard any sound. Looked for a turnbeeper_on() command or
similar in summary.htm but no luck.
Now reading that sentence what does "on the same corner" mean exactly?
When Reeborg is on the beeper, he covers it. So I would assume he is on
it, and that qualifies to emit a sound (if the beeper is on? but how do
you turn it on then?). What is the same corner?
Thanks.
Fred
No, this is an "imaginary sound" ... I used essentially the same
description that Richard Pattis used in his original Karel the robot.
It might be nice (and someone once asked me for it) to add sound
capabilities to rur-ple. I just logged this as an issue.

Yes, it is when Reeborg is covering the beeper... I know, the
description is not the clearest... :-(

I remember Peter mentioning this as well in his long translation report
(quite a lot of good and complex issues raised actually).
