Additionally, the IPC-IG is launching the Working Paper "A Re-Examination Of The Expected Years Of Schooling: What Can It Tell Us?", also available in the One Pager format, by Irineu Rigotti et al (IPC-IG). The study proposes anadjustment to the expected years of schooling indicatordefined by UNESCO, in order to make it more suitable for localities with irregular school flow. Using Brazilian states as a case study, it demonstrates that the adjusted indicator can bring greater robustness to the original measure, ensuring afairer comparison among countries or regions. The publication " The Risks of Integration: the Rise and Recent Fall of Emerging Markets", by Raquel Ameida (Centre d’Economie de l’université Paris Nord, Sorbonne Paris Cité ) and Bruno Bonnizi, (Department of Economics, SOAS, University of London), analyses the risk  lack of liquiditycan pose to emerging economies , as it affects exchange rates and may lead to outflows as investors try to avoid losses.
