Greetings All,
Happy New Year! I hope this email finds you well and in good spirits.
In march or last year, the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), in collaboration with the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR), organized a discussion in Phnom Penh regarding Agricultural Water Management (AWM) in Cambodia. You are receiving this message because you were invited to participate in this discussion.
Participants discussed four key issues which impact AWM in Cambodia:
1) AWM planning
2) FWUGs, entrepreneurs and cooperatives: Institutional structures for productive use of agricultural water
3) Rice versus fish: environmental impacts of intensification of rice cultivation
4) Groundwater resource assessment
Following the discussion, an issue brief for each topic was produced in English with a Khmer summary. These issue briefs are finally online and can be downloaded at:
Please let us know if you have any questions, concerns, or feedback regarding these four briefs.
In addition, we are in the process of producing hard copies of these documents. Please let us know if these would be of interest to you or your organization.
Thank you very much for your time.
Best regards,
