Hi all,

Thanks for your interest in Runway and for joining this discussion group. Some of you are probably wondering what Runway even is. I tried to fit that into a Tweet before, and came up with:
Runway = specification + model checking + simulation + visualization,
but that's a bit terse, isn't it?

Today we published a blog post introducing Runway: https://medium.com/salesforce-open-source/runway-intro-dc0d9578e248. It embeds a recording of the talk on Runway that I gave at CoreOS Fest on May 10th, just after open sourcing the code. Hopefully this helps clarify where the project is heading.

I hope we can build up a bunch of intro materials, examples, and tutorials to help people learn Runway, but that will take some time. Meanwhile, if you have questions about Runway, ideas on where to begin with supporting docs, or want to discuss Runway's design or individual models, feel free to start new threads here on runway-dev. We're excited to see what models you come up with, and we're definitely looking for help with Runway itself -- there's a ton left to do!

Best,
Diego
