Hi

I'm looking for a simpler example of integrating RTCCPP into my code, since the documentation is a bit outdated (some object names are changed, leaving me in confusion as to what is what).

At the bottom line, I want my program to compile a cpp file that contains a reference to a header, a few global objects, and 2 functions (an Init and a Render function). I also need it to reference libraries included in my main program.

How do I proceed?

Hi,

I've been struggling to get enough time to dedicate to documentation and improved samples for RCC++, and have set up a Patron page to help with that: https://www.patreon.com/enkisoftware. RCC++ is in active maintenance as I use it for our own projects.

If there are issues with the documentation please do let me know where so I can correct them.

Let me know how you get on from here and I'll try to help as and when I get the time.

Hi Doug

The hard part about the samples is distinguishing between what’s specific to the sample, and where the RCC++ starts and stops.

I'd love to get more time to create a much more simplified example, and our https://www.patreon.com/enkisoftware can help fund me do that.

Until then the best I can offer is that the example code is in the example folder, whereas the RCC++ libraries are in the folders RuntimeCompiler and RuntimeObjectSystem

Hi Doug

Would a once off $500 (or a little bit more if necessary) be
sufficient to fast track a simplified example of RCC++ specially for
us?

Thanks

Hi Jonathan,

I'm sure we can work something out - can you contact me at do...@enkisoftware.com?

Cheers,

Doug.
