To all the folks of the RFL Team,

Thank you all for organising another spectacular event.

plus points -

* Detailed mailers sent out before the run
* Well organised bib distribution
* Amply stocked aid stations
* Encouragement and support offered by the entire RFL team before and after the run :-)

negative points -

Can't think of any :-).

As always I maintain - proud to be a member of this group :-)

Hi Shobhana,

 You are right. Everything minute detail was taken care of and it was a really well organized run. My first marathon attempt and couldn't have asked for anything better from the organizers of the event when it came to running.

Two things which I felt were not on the plus side though ( my opinion, others may differ ) -

 1) For one of my friends who drove on her own to the venue, there were some difficulty with directions. First, some building falling on left or right is a relative statement and may not apply evenly to people coming from different directions. Second, Opto labs did not have the lights on during the night time and building with dark glass  was not visible then, from where she had to take a diversion. Due to this, she reached late to the venue for the run.

2) Post run food was a let down ( not only I felt this, but many people complained ). After such a wonderful run, good food would have been icing on the cake.

Hope these would be taken care of for major events in the future.

Thanks for organising such a wonderful event !

Keep running,
Amol

Great settings (as usual), Great weather (conspiracy of A1 and A2 with weather gods or Met deptt), Great run support, Great feeling (to have finished 50K) and many other Greats.

Yes food after lunch was a great let down - actually an apology and service levels pathetic complemented with rude behaviour..... A Darshini hotel could have done a better job at such cost. Needs great improvement here.

The whole event was impeccably executed, right from the point where the buses started till the part where the race finished. The aid stations were generously stocked, the markings loud and clear, and the weather too couldn't have been any better. The only thing that disappointed me was the lunch, as others have already noted - it was barely edible and i had to eat once again after i reached home.

Cheers, Manav
