Activating a switch of a row in an array upon conditions

Hi,

I have an array populated with a background process (see below).

I would like that a switch of each row appears active/inactive based on the variable value of the same row, i.e. :

NAME   START    END           STATUS    SWITCH1 (active if STATUS = "STEP1")

mary     Aug, 1     Sept, 15      STEP1      (active)

john      Jun, 10    Jul, 14         STEP2      (inactive)

frank     May, 3     Jul, 10         STEP1      (active)

Is it possible ?
