Here's a race next Saturday the 26th  for any of you in town.  Unfortunately, a group of us will be at the Spud Run that day.

Hi!

I am a 2nd year medical student at UF reaching out to see if your organization would be interested in running in our 5k on 4/26/2025 at Flavet Field 9 a.m for Head and Neck Cancer research. I have attached the invitation email below. Would it be possible for you to send this out to your list serv of runners? We would be willing to a do a deal on registration if 10 or more individuals would want to participate from your organization!

The UF’s ENT Head and Neck Cancer department would like to cordially invite you to join us on Saturday April 26 for the 4^th Annual Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Walk/Run/ Race!  Please see attached flyer for more details. Please use the QR code to register in advance.

 

What:

5K Fun Walk / Run

                5K Competitive Race

 

Purpose:

To raise awareness for head and neck cancer and funds for research. Proceeds go to support the event and to the head and neck research fund.

 

Where:

Flavet field (not location change this year!)

 

Schedule:

8-9am: Head and Neck Cancer Screening and Sponsor Expo

 

9:15am: Fun Walk/Run Starts

 

9:30am: Competitive Race Starts

 

Cost:

1. 5K Fun Walk / Run: $30
2. 5K Competitive Race: $35
3. Patient Rate: $15

We will also accept donations for the research fund above the registration. We are registered as a 501c3, so donations are tax deductible!

 

Registrants will get a T-shirt and be eligible for prizes if they are part of the 5K race.
