Saturday HuntersCrossing or FTC Race Preview

Hi Runners,

This Saturday, October 11th, you have 2 choices.  We will start our long run at Hunter's Crossing Publix at 6:00 AM to run the route to Westside Park and Alfred Ring. This route is 12 miles long, but we can tell you when to loop back for shorter distances. This route has paved trail, roadside, some sidewalk, some hills, dirt trail thru Alfred Ring if you want, and water stops every 2 to 3 miles. Hunter's Crossing Publix is at the corner of NW 43rd Street and NW 53rd Avenue/Millhopper Road. Breakfast Club - We text when we finish so anyone can join! Probably 43rd Street Deli. 

Or this Saturday: Saturday, October 11th is Florida Track Club's Tom Walker Preview 5K and 10K on Hawthorne Trail, starts at Boulware Springs. Free for FTC members.  See FTC website for code, but register on Runsignup.com

Saturday, November 1st is the  is Flatwoods 5K in Austin Cary Forest on Waldo Road. Nice easy trail with good food and fun pinecone awards.  

Sunday, November 9th is Florida Track Club's Tom Walker Half marathon and 5K - register by October 17th for shirt!  Also on Hawthorne trail, but starts at First Magnitude this year.  Discount for track Club members, see website for code.  

Looking forward to more fall weather- it's supposed to be cool Saturday morn!   Notice start time still 6:00 a.m., let's think about when we want to change back to 6:30.
