Hi Runners,
This Saturday, January 18th, we will start our long run at  (NOTICE THIS:)  7:00 a.m. at the Mill to run to Haile.  This route is 8, 10 or 12 miles long, we can tell you when to loop back or how to add more. It is roadside, some sidewalk, paved trail, and we notice little hills on way back. Water stops every 2 to 3 miles, two have bathrooms, one is at Haile Publix, you could buy gatorade. The Mill is the Bakery Mill and Deli restaurant located off Newberry Road, west of I-75, in the shopping center across from now closed Kmart. This Sunday, January 19th, some of us are doing Jekyll Island half marathon, so send fast thoughts for John, AJ, Loretta, Lu + husband, Renee and I, and Sara the 10K.   And also Sunday is FTC Mary Andrews Half, whole and relay on the Hawthorne Trail.   Go go racers! 
But save some speed for that next weekend too, SaturdayJanuary 25th  Newnan's Lake 15K!  Register now!   
Gate River Run is March 1st this year, time to send in qualifying times to get in 1st wave!

Hi Runners,
This Saturday, February 8th, we will start our long run at Hunters Crossing at 6:30 a.m. to run the route to Westside Park and Alfred Ring. This route is 12 miles long, but we can tell you when to loop back for shorter distances. This route has paved trail, roadside, some sidewalk, some hills, dirt trail thru Alfred Ring if you want, and water stops every 2 to 3 miles. Hunter's Crossing Publix is at the corner of NW 43rd Street and NW 53rd Avenue/Millhopper Road. Also, March 1st is Gate River Run, send in your times to qualify, I hope it's not too late to get in first wave.  Then March 8th is the new run Archer 5K and 10K, see FTC website.  And we are planning another fun race to the  Spud Run in Hastings, April 26th Remember cabbage and potatoes when you finish and a Cabbage, Potato and Bacon Festival in Hastings!  Register now!

This Saturday, February 15th, we will start the long run at 6:30 a.m. in front of the UF Performing Arts Center to run the OLD Five Points of Life half marathon route.  It is 13 miles long.   You can come back on 34th Street for less than 8 miles, or come back on 13th Street for 10.5 miles. This route is mostly roadside and sidewalk and includes hills on the "Bacon Strip" (16th Avenue) and other landmarks we missed on the new course!  This should be the whole marathon route:  https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/175181764  There are water stops every 2 to 3 miles, about 3 have bathrooms.     https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/987371473
