Hi Runners,
This Saturday, October 4th, we will start at 6:00 a.m. to run my favorite route - Tobacco Road .We will decide that morn if we will do it the normal way or backwards which would be Cow Road and to Sweetwater Branch Park first.  If we go the usual way, it will be DARK! So bring your headlamps!
The other option is to run east on Williston Road and meet at Sweetwater, but the sidewalk is questionable condition from 34th to Cow Road.

This route can be 8, 10, or 12 miles long depending on where you loop back. This route has roadside, dirt road, some sidewalk, paved trail along Cow Road, and campus roads at the end if you go 10 or 12 miles. Go to Westside Park to get 14, add mileage on campus.  There are water stops every 2 or 3 miles, 3 have bathrooms, 1 or 2 at convenience stores you could buy gatorade. Remember START POINT:  We start at UF in front of Phillips Performing Arts Center, close to road - where we usually start for the run out to Hawthorne Trail. Check out the route map on MapMyRun but not that starting place: 13.91 mi Tobacco road and Westside Park     http://www.mapmyrun.com/us/gainesville-fl/tobacco-road-and-westside-park-route-3424693   We go to Sweetwater for drink now, which adds on a bit to the mileage.

Breakfast Club - we will text when we finish so anyone can join!

Meow Meow KITTEN ANYONE?  Sarah and I were walking this morn and a small kitten chased us meowing like crazy.  Not in a good place to be, we looked for more and found none.  Obviously not feral as it wanted us, so you know I had to carry it home. Skinny, ate my cat's dry food right away. I don't need a kitten!  My 2 big cats hiss and run.  So somebody out there MUST need a kitten, yes?  Vet can't see it til week of 13th, and I would be happy to pay for kitten exam and first shots.
