Interpreting the gradebook.

I do not know how to interpret a gradebook search as shown in the attached file.  


Also, is there a way to scroll the gradebook while holding my students names constant in the left column, such as splitting a sheet in Excel.  \

Shawn,

The filter by assignment box is meant for you to get the table down to a single assignment.  To do this you should type in the assignment name exactly as it appears in the column header when you are not filtering.  Otherwise it will show all the partial matches.  Your screenshot is showing several assignments.

Using a more flexible table viewer is on the todo list, but for now the most reliable thing to do is simply download the grade book and open it up in your favorite spreadsheet app.

Hello Brad,   

I am still making some mistake working with the Gradebook.  The attached file shows an Assignment List with single assignment named   Q4 Asmt 23
However, when I enter this assignment in the Gradebook Filter, I get many many assignments. 

Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?
