Approval in workflow

I'm looking into using Rundeck with Ansible and want to determine if it is possible to insert some sort of approval step within a workflow prior to pulling the trigger on the running of certain Ansible playbooks. Either this would be done within Rundeck itself or via a webcall from another tool. I see that there was a trail from 2013 which described this as a feature request that was not integrated. Did anything happen in the meantime to bring this feature to Rundeck?
