Update from 4.11 to 5.7 in one step?

Moin,

I am using rundeck 4.11 under RHEL 8. It was installed using the rpm.

Can I update to the current version in one single step or do I have to install every single version?

Hi Michael,

You can follow the instructions listed here (here for 5.X specifically).

Anyway, the main advice is to backup your instance/backend first and test in a non-prod environment first.
