Related to email notification from Rundeck Jobs

Hello Team, 

I am Sambit. I am a rundeck user. 
i have created a rundeck job add the notification for the failed job. added my company email id. 
But the issue is, whenever the job is getting failed, i am not getting any email notification related to that. 
Do i need to add the below commands to the 'rundeck-config.properties' file? 

• grails.mail.host=smtp-mail.outlook.com
  grails.mail.port=587
  grails.mail.username=us...@outlook.com
  grails.mail.default.from=us...@outlook.com
  grails.mail.password=xxx
  grails.mail.props.debug=true
  grails.mail.props.mail.smtp.auth=true
  grails.mail.props.mail.smtp.starttls.enable=true
  

do i need to change any smtp setting? if yes, then where and how can i modify that. 

Need your assistance on this.

Did you generate the App password in Outlook? Please take a look at this (more info here).
