Hi Team,

  I have created /var/lib/rundeck/var/tmp in the destination vm with correct permissions and also included in the project configuration files.But still i could not run the job on that destination node. It showing error like 

server indicated an error: scp: /var/lib/rundeck/tmp/20-1180-test-vm-dispatch-script.tmp.sh: Permission denied

I tried alot to sort this out but i couldn't . Can you please help me out ?

Hi Vani,

Did you configure the path for the remote user defined in the rundeck model source? Alternatively, you can define the custom path on the model source definition using the file-copy-destination-dir parameter, take a look at this.

I forgot to change the ownership of a file(custom destination directory) in the remote node.. Now it is working fine..Thanks alot for responding..
