When I try to execute the API  /api/2/project/[NAME]/resources/refresh

I get the following error message:

Resources were not updated because no resource model provider URL is configured for project TrimFleetAdministration

I'm not quite sure how to fix that. Where do I put the URL and what should it look like?

Hi Evelyn,

That API endpoint should probably be marked as deprecated. It was meant to allow forcing the resources to be refreshed from the source URL, back when there could only be a single URL source for a project.

The current mechanism allows multiple different types of sources, and URL sources are refreshed on demand.

OK, I think we are talking about different things.   I manually updated my resources.xml file.  The changes are not showing up in the GUI.  How do I a make rundeck see the changes that I've made?

if you modify the file directly, the results should be shown immediately.  If there is an error parsing the file, you may be seeing cached results.  Otherwise, your results may be filtered by access control if the account does not have read access to some nodes

Silly me.   I had two resources.xml and I updated the wrong one.   Thanks for the prompt replies.
