My apps are printing log message with a level of DEBUG or higher.  I wish to change that to INFO level or higher.  I've checked the rundeck-config.properties file and see loglevel.default=INFO

Given that, I'm not sure how then to change the logging level.

How do I modify the logging level?

Additional info:
My apps use Logback(slf4).  Their logging is set to DEBUG.  I need to have them continue to log to DEBUG level, whereas RunDeck should log to INFO level.

Hi Todd,

The loglevel.default is used to control the job execution log verbosity.  Are you referring to the app logs managed by the log4j.properties (eg, the ones named rundeck.*.log)?

Thanks

My application (Java app) uses logback set to log to the DEBUG level.

When I run that application in RunDeck I'm hoping I'll somehow be able to restrict logging to INFO level.

That means, when in RunDeck, and I run a job, when I go to the Log Output tab I'd like to see just INFO and above logs.

Is that possible, and if so, how?
