Upgrade Rundeck 2.8.X to Rundeck 3.X

Hi Team,

I am planning to upgrade Rundeck version from 2.8.2 to 3.0.7.

I used launcher on linux for installation 2.8.2.

is it possible to upgrade directly from 2.8.2 to 3.0.7?

I got below link to Upgrade Rundeck 2.11.X to Rundeck 3.X. 

is it same steps will work for me also?

Hey Sumantlal,

I Reproduce your migration of 2.8.2 to 3.0.7 (using launcher like you) directly and i don't have any problem.

You can use the same steps that you say:

The main advice I can give you is to back up everything before making any important changes and perform tests before in a safe environment.
