Who's using the Rundeck WAR to deploy to Tomcat, JBoss or some other webapp container?

Not to take away from the launcher or RPM installation Rundeck provides now but I'm interested in people's experience deploying Rundeck outside of these "turn key" installers. From conversations, I know of people that deploy Rundeck to Tomcat along side other webapps. This might be because Tomcat (or JBoss) is a standard or it might be due to functionality these containers provide. If you fall in this latter category, let us know what you've gained or what you've had to adapt to make it work.

Thanks, Alex

We're deploying Rundeck with a much newer version of Jetty.  Tighter control over container versioning and configuration are big wins.

war deployment is a common rundeck issue.
A first step uses Tomcat Manager (wget with basic authentication) to undeploy a tomcat application.
A next step exports the new war from an SVN repo.. (tomcat automatically starts the application).
