Unable to export some project

Hi,

Rundeck v5.15

OS: Oracle Linux 9

DB: Oracle XE

I'm unable to export 1 or 2 projects using the rd cli (the other 5 or 6 are fine).

Command:
rd projects archives export -f /u02/staging/2025-10-21-165603-rundeck-project-EPL_Testing.jar -i jobs -i configs -i acls -i readmes -p EPL_Testing

The even if I use just "-i all" it still fails with "Request failed: 500 Server Error".

Other projects export fine using the same command.  I've looked at the project config and there is no difference between them.

I'm seeing this in the logs

Can you export it via the GUI? Did you try using the latest RD CLI version?

Hi,

I'm using rd v2.0.9 which looks to be the latest.

It fails from the GUI as well.  In the GUI when I click on the icon to download the jar file it goes to a page which doesn't exist.  I guess because the file hasn't been created.

If I look in /tmp/rundeck I can see the jar has been started and contains the job xml files and the properties files (which is probably all it can given the components I asked to be included).

Can you test the latest SNAPSHOT version?

Thanks for the update,

I'm not easily able to test the snapshot so I'll wait for v5.17 to be released.

Will the fix applied to v5.17 be applied to the RD CLI ?  We are using the RD CLIP daily to to backup our projects in the event of large failure.
