I hope this message finds you well! I wanted to inquire about the possibility of running the Rundeck community version continuously in the background. Is there a way to achieve this?

Yes, sure, you have three scenarios for that:

1. Redhat / Debian Linux distributions. By default uses systemd to manage the service automatically.

2. Windows, you can use Apache Commons Daemon, just follow this.

3. WAR launcher, basically is to connect the WAR file init script to systemd, take a look.
