Hello.

What's the solution to make Rundeck authenticate with Azure AD? I've seen two posts mentioning this but they are from 2022, so I wonder if they're still updated.

From what I've read, SSO is only available with Rundeck Enterprise. What's the current solution for Rundeck Community?

Hi David,

Azure AD Authentication is still only for Process Automation / Runbook Automation.

Best regards.

Thanks for the fast answer.

Does this mean that it doesn't support user authentication at all?

For the Community version, you can use LDAP/LDAPS/AD (the traditional AD, not related to Azure AD) authentication methods. Alternatively, you can configure Rundeck in pre-auth mode behind a web server and use a solution that passes the user/roles via HTTP headers like this scenario.

Greetings!
