Hi Florian,

as I mentioned before, rundeck 1.5 enables this kind of behavior via plugins.  We also include a new bundled plugin called "localexec", which allows you to run a command on the rundeck server rather than the remote node, and use the details of the target node however you wish. I think this would give you exactly what you are asking for here.

Wouldn't it be easy to implement that feature by adding another checkox which forces rundeck to run the command on the localhost for each filtered node? So you could use ${node.hostname} as variable in that command.
