Rundeck user interaction on step's ??

Hello All,

I'm trying to run a job on my node server, which the job will be interactive!

like the script will do a installation of a service, 

it will ask the following,

1) Port

2) Path.. etc..,

While ran the job. the script will running over 30mins, after that i just killed the job.

Hope you find what i'm going to ask,?!

Does rundeck have the capability to prompt a user for input after the job execution has begun ??

Hi,

The best way to do that is using expect (https://linux.die.net/man/1/expect) to  interact, you can set the answers using options in your job, take a look:
