Dear Team,

As per your Team suggestion i have updated latest Rundeck Version 3.0.10 in my production.

It works for 5 days but suddenly it stopped working .

When I see rundeck nohup.out file i am getting errors like org.quartz.JobExecutionException continuously for jobs scheduled . Please see attach image also for more details.

But from rundeck front end UI .. I dont see any job being failed ... why this error is coming .. Please suggest.

I have given around 3 gb ram memory for Rundeck Process than also I got error like out of memory in files like hs_err_pid6555.log .
Please see attached images of hrr files and its contents

Hi Rajat,

The log indicates that even if you have assigned 3gb to Rundeck, the JVM does not have where to get it because it has run out of resources (because high load), that is why you may need a memory upgrade on your server.

A good tool to monitoring your server load (to identify the resources use and get more clues) is htop ( https://hisham.hm/htop/).

Hi racuna,


Why this kind of errors are coming in my nohup.out file . From front end my jobs are running properly but in nohup i am getting error .Please refer attached image for the same.
How to stop such logs messages. 

Regarding memory , my linux server has 23 gb RAM memory and i have assigned 3 gb memory to Rundeck etc/profile file. 

Which memory i should increase ?
Please suggest .

Hi Rajat,

Maybe your job after some time overload the assigned memory. Check how your job affects the server load.

You can send the screenshot of Rundeck System Report to take a look?

Also, you can increase the amount of RAM assigned to Rundeck if necessary, check this:
