Hi Suji,

You may want to review the "Job State conditional" workflow step. This feature was introduced in Rundeck 2.5.0, but it has been improved by subsequent releases.

Hope it helps!

Hi Eduardo,

Job state Conditional is useful incase any jobs/steps fails then the remaining jobs will not be triggered.
But my scenario is like below :

Based upon user input a logic statement to be evaluated. If the logic returns true, the step would be skipped and a message such as "Skipping Workflow Step "Job with option that skips step" would be displayed in the log output.As well as the rest of the steps will be skipped

Example Workflow Step:
Job Name: Job with option that skips step
Job Group: MyGroup
Commandline arguments: ${option.opt1}
Conditionally Execute?: Yes
Execute step if: ${option.opt1} == "Y"

Thanks,

Sujitha P

Hi Sujitha,

Thank you for the clarification, that feature is not currently available, but it is included and often voted in our Development Trello Board, and those feature request are actively tracked to be included in upcoming version.

Now, regarding your question about the advanced workflow (ruleset strategy) and advanced visualization are PRO-exclusive features. I case you would like to test those features, I recommend you to test Rundeck PRO's free 15 day trial.

Hope it helps!
