Is the data used for RumourEval 2019 is en extension of RumourEval 2017 dataset?

Hi,

The English Twitter training data for 2019 is the combined 2017 training and dev data. The 2019 Twitter dev data is the 2017 test data.

The Reddit data is all new.

The forthcoming Danish and Russian Twitter data comes from other projects and hasn't been used in the previous Rumoureval.

Hi,

Unlike the Twitter data, where there are multiple threads for a single topic, in the Reddit data each thread is its own topic. You can see what a Reddit thread is about by reading the original post.
