The evaluation period for both subtasks is planned to begin on January 21st and end on January 31st. Test data will be released on January 21st. Please bear with me at that time as I am a Codalab novice! Hopefully the ten days will give us all time to figure it out!

In response to an email I received with several questions, I thought it worth clarifying that the discussion posts we are classifying for stance in task A are the discussion threads for the rumours we are classifying for veracity in task B. The idea is that the stances provide information can be used for the veracity classification. Of course you can approach subtask B however you wish, and don't have to do both subtasks if you don't want.

Hello,

Just to make things clear, the evaluation originally planned to start at Jan. 10, 2019 (on CodaLab website) is now being postponed to January 21st - January 31st period?

Thanks,
Jure

Ah, right, that was more of a placeholder date. I had forgotten that was there, and that people might think it was a firm date. I hope this isn't a problem for anyone!
