I have just noticed there are examples with no text in training data? What is the role of these?

Precisely, these examples from the tweet data training set does not contain any values:

Hiya, those will be Reddit items. Sometimes a Reddit item had been deleted by the time we downloaded the data, but we left it in place so as not to break the conversational structure.
