Hi Rahul,

Most standard OAuth client libraries (http://oauth.net/code) can be
used to authenticate with the Rummble API. We're also planning on
releasing further code samples and SDKs. In the meantime, if you could
share more info about your dev platform then we may be able to share
some code to get you started quicker.

Thanks,
Alex

Sorry Rahul, I missed the iPhone reference in the subject line. Can
you confirm that you're looking into building an iPhone app using the
Rummble API?

Cheers,
Alex

Hi Rahul,

If you want to write an app that scans for nearby wifi hotspots then please send me an email (in private if you prefer) with a little more info about the app so we can work out if it qualifies for a free non-commercial license. Note that hotspots locations are retrieved from our database rather than scanning for wifi signals around you, which means private shouldn't be listed. The focus is upon public wifi hotspots such as those found in cafes, restaurants, airports, etc.

If simply you want to scan for nearby access points on the iPhone then we've already built an app called Total Hotspots, which you can download here:  http://totalhotspots.com

Cheers,
Alex
