We are delighted to announce that the RUMEY (Rutgers Mathematics End of Year) conference is returning for 2026! This free event provides an opportunity for us to come together, discuss teaching and learning in undergraduate mathematics and other STEM fields, and showcase the work we are doing in our classrooms.
The conference will take place at Rutgers - New Brunswick on the Livingston campus on Friday, May 15, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., followed by a reception from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be provided free of charge.
This year, we are excited to welcome two outstanding keynotes:
More information about our keynote speakers and a tentative schedule can be found on the conference website. We hope many of you will join, and we encourage you to present your work at the conference. Action Items:
- Conference Registration: Let us know you are coming by completing the registration form. Registration is open until April 20.
- Abstract Submission: We invite proposals for concurrent session presentations. Each presentation will be 30 minutes and may focus on any aspect of teaching and learning undergraduate mathematics, including pedagogy, classroom strategies, research, or other relevant topics you would like to share. You can submit a proposal by filling out the abstract submission form by March 23. Decisions will be made by early April.
